Social work as a system of scientific cognition

Abstract:
Although the development was interrupted in the past, social work in Slovakia nowadays stands in the position of an independent scientific discipline which emanates actual theoretical knowledge. In the past years experts in Slovakia have been discussing the fact if social work is an application or an individual part of science theory and they have also been discussing the position of this discipline. The submitted speech shows theoretical standpoints of social work and also the application models in training courses of social work in The department of Roma culture of FSS CPU.
