Practical education in the branch social work, its functioning and effectivity for the profession

Abstract:
The following contribution shows the legitimacy of practical education in the field of social work, the connection between theory and practice and the practical teaching in the Department of Social Work of the Pedagogical Faculty of UK in Bratislava in the present time. It delineates some of the professional problems concerning the practical teaching of students and the efectivity of using the practical education for the career of a social worker.
