Medicalisation – problem which is still alive

Abstract:
The article gives the basic information and a number of examples concerning the problems of medicalisation, which is still a live issue at present. It puts forward both positive and negative aspects of this phenomenon which is an important by-product of the growth of knowledge in the area of medicine. It also pays attention to a lot of deviant behaviours frequently encountered by the social workers.
