Social Work with Survivors

Abstract:
The paper analyzes the context of dying and death. This situation is perceived from the perspective of social work as a difficult life situation. Stakeholders are not just dying client and his or her family, then the survivors, but they are also accompanied by the team of professionals. The dying and death outlines the questions of „end of life decisions“, or „right to die“ or „at the end of life decisions“. Easing the grieving is an area of social counseling to help them cope with the loss.
