One of available options how can be a positive potential developed is properly chosen form of an expressive therapy, supposing that creative expression positively influences course of treatment. From social work perspective I consider beneficial to familiarize social workers, working with this specific target group, with this alternative. Understanding the importance of selfexpression in schizophrenic’s life can motivate social workers to cooperate with psychiatrists and recommend a suitable form of expressive therapy to clients.
