Self-research as a Way to Cope with Problems of the Work with Clients
Libor Musil, Renáta Talašová
Abstract:
The article is devoted to the question: “How and in what way can self-research help in dealing with difficulties of using research as an instrument of coping with problems of the work with clients?” The authors define methodic principles of “self-research” (the way of coping with problems of the work with clients by means of first-hand research). They substantiate these principles as instruments to overcome negative influence of social workers cooperation with external researcher in the context of “action research”. Questions on anticipated contribution of using self-research methodic principles are answered by means of the case study on self-research made by social worker in criminal justice. Keywords:
