Resiliency Concept in Social Work with Youth at Risk

Abstract:
The aim of this essay is to define a term youth at risk and to set bases for application of resiliency concept in social work with youth at risk. Resiliency is a concept that is used for the description of dynamic developmental processes, that enable the individual (or other systems such as family, comunity) to adapt in the contexts of significant adversities (risks, stressors). This essay is theoretical and includes some chapters. Firstly are presented terms youth at risk, risk behaviour and social work. Last chapters deals with resiliency and their strategies.
