Contributions of the Association The Long Way for Mothers and Families of Dead Children

Abstract:
Civil association The Long Way is the only organization in the Czech Republic for helping families after bereavement. This study results from a qualitative study, which explores the experiences of surviving mothers from this association. The authors presents the four periods of adapting to the loss of a child and what help The Long Way offers for families of dead children. Also authors mention the preliminary scheme of staff structure and workload for social (helping) workers in regional centers about which the Long Way attempt.
