Jan Keller
Abstract:
The article deals with some aspects of poverty in the conditions of the post-industrial society. The autor describes briefly the situation of men and women which are on the margin of the labour market. He showes which ideological function is fulfilled by the notion of the culture of poverty. He uses the French example to remark some real processes introducing and reproducing the so called culture of poverty. The author states that the culture of poverty is not an anthropological constant but the outcome of quite real economic and social forces. Keywords:
